Jimmie "Hippi" Pabin, 66, of Warren Twp., passed away at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Mercy Health St. Joseph Health Care Center after a 5 month illness with leukemia.
Jimmie was born September 12, 1951 in Warren the son of the late Steve and Sophie Malarchick Pabin and was a lifelong area resident.
He graduated with an Associate's Degree in electrical engineering and was owner and operator of the Import Shop in Warren in the 1970’s. Jimmie enjoyed fishing and camping and just this past year enjoyed a family trip to Hocking Hills. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers and enjoyed outdoor photography.
Jimmie was of the Catholic faith and was raised in the former Christ Our King Catholic Church in Warren.
He is survived by his siblings, Steve (Nancy) of Herriman, Utah, Thomas (Lucie) of Leavittsburg, Robert “Tiger” of Warren and Larry (Robin) of Warren; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Besides his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by two sisters Rosemary “Bunny” Johnson, Mary Ann Wilk-Pabin and a brother Francis J. Pabin.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home, 727 E. Market St., Warren.
An order of Christian Burial service will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the funeral home with Msgr. Thomas Snyderwine officiating.
Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
